Ferrari F430

Hi Readers,

Sorry for the delayed update. I was on vacation in Sardinia and saw some beautiful 'domestic' cars. I managed to forget my camera when a F430 parks next to me at the hotel. I am still beating myself up for that.

The Ferrari F430 is the definition of the term 'Italian passion'. This beautiful ride shares many characteristics with it's predecessor the legendary 360. It is designed to be within reach for doctors and good lawyers with the MSRP at $168k.

The 4.3L V8 naturally aspirated engine outputs 483HP and 343 lb ft at 5250 RPM. That gets you from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, 3rd best time in the Ferrari road version family!
The 430 has a cool feature called an E-Diff. That is mainly a fancy word for an advanced computer controlled LSD that manages torque on many factors, even the tilt of the steering wheel and lateral acceleration.

Don't worry, Ferrari made sure you will look good in this even if your not that good of a driver. Jeremy Clarkson has proclaimed that "even the most butter-fingered, incapable driver could drive the F430 around their test track only one second slower than the most skilled test driver".

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The 599 GTB Fiorano is a sleek gran turismo vehicle styled by the Pininfarina under the guidance of Frank Stephenson. The name (un originally) comes from the discplacement of the engine (5999 cc), Gran Turismo Berlinetta features and Fiorano is Ferrari's test track,

Now let's get to what matters. This baby has 611 ponies and can do 0-160 mph in 19 seconds flat! You have the option of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed sequental manual box that they call F1 SuperFast. Most importantly the 599 is equipped with a MagnaRide suspension that gives her (unlike many of her competetors) a smooth ride on your way to work and a total beast at the track.

This baby is will surely not be driven by Obama as she drinks 11 mpg (21 L/100 km) according to official numbers but who cares when you have a ride as sweet as this.

For "only" 302,000 USD she can be your.

Ferrari Enzo

The definate king of the road. The Veiron might have a few more horses under the hood but the Enzo can actually take a turn. The styling of this street legal formula one inspired masterpiece is unchallenged. I got the pleasure of experiencing the 10.8 sec 1/4 time and acceleration up to 320 as a passenger in an Enzo in the moon-crater looking landscapes near Reykjavik, Iceland with a mad viking behind the wheel, an experience not to be forgotten soon.
This baby can be yours for the modest price of 1 million dollars, second hand of course, and that is if you can actually get the opportunity to buy one as only 400 were ever made.

Classic Ferrari Testa Rossa

The Testa Rossa is without a doubt one of the sexiest cars ever made. Unfortunately for my wallet, I am not the only one to think that. A 1957 model sold for 12.9 MILLION dollars on an auction this month.
